i hate how people say Eun Jung because he is probably the only mesmer they have ever heard of since his guild won the championship. News flash, meaning you won doesnt mean you are the best it could mean you are lucky, and as one person mentioned before there is probably no one best player because there are so many. You can be good at what you do with a mesmer but you are never the best all around.

The sheer style of the cola shield + fellblade on Last of Master... added to the incredible warrior playing and the no res, no cancel stance for frenzy makes LoM my favorite char to watch on observer

So, how many great PvP players named in this thread aren't from top 15 guilds? People post the people they've seen in Observe Mode, but I've seen players far more impressive, but because noone gets to see them in Observe Mode, doesn't mean they don't excist.
And PvE players can be great too. Interupting a 3/4 or 1/2 seconds cast is just as impressive in PvE as it is in PvP. Even though the pressure is nearly gone in PvE (since losing doesn't matter much, and because you've got alot of time to think most of the time), it's still the same game.

Best Mesmer? Duh, just look at my name. "Omnipotent"?

As far as intelligent people who actually know a thing or two, I usually go with Avarre to back me up on topics. Even though we have differences of opinion on certain skills.

In a game this big, this seems like an obscenely silly thread. It seems like this is a "i've seen this person" thread, like associating yourself with them will make you more special. Thats just my two cents though.

Some people are just naturally better at playing a class than other people. hence why most people know who Last of Master and Bloodlight Eyes are. They stand out in observer mode because they are just that good.

No, people who are in the observer mode have nothing to do with individual talent. Its all about how well your guild performs as a team. There could be much better people in much lower ranked guilds who just arent seen because of that fact.

This thread is kinda cool but instead of 'best', I like to think of 'favourite'... I know we want our favourite players to be the best, but it depends how you measure it

Warrior: Racthoh, 10million exp+ is waaaay too much! I've seen a bunch of his guides and he's one of the great PvE masters out ther right now... maybe even the PvE master
Ranger: Gaile Gray is the most famous ranger I know, and she's cute
Elementalist: Um... Queen Christie for looking cool in the screenshot forum!
Mesmer: Avarre for being kick-ass and making mesmers heard! The great unwashed will never learn that mesmers are awesome at PvE too - you can't educate pork
Necromancer: I like Kcp, for his great guides and promoting necromancers in general
Monk: Him.

Have fun out there!
